According to the advanced yogis each Women and Man has seven spiritual centers of consciousness “Chakras”,corresponding to the subtle centers of light and power in the astral body.
The Physical, Astral and Causal bodies work together. “As Above So Below”.
We are a microcosm of the universe with five sheaths – Matter, Life, Mind, Intellect and Bliss.
By correct practice of meditation, and right behavior, the accomplished yogi, through pranayama ( life force control) unfolds the life energy sheaths, until the bliss sheath is attained in deepest meditation, the yogi dissolves the ego with the prayed for help of saints or God and merges the soul in blissful oneness with the Supreme Consciousness or God.
Yogis, Buddhist’s and the Saints of many paths have recognized the secret methods through which this joyous liberation can be attained.
By deeper meditation the yogi(ni) goes beyond the inner physical sounds and passes through the bodies astral kingdom hearing the various vibratory sounds of the chakras energy field.
Sounds like the blowing of the conch shells, the bumble bee, flute, harp, gong, bell, sea roar and or the combined astral symphony of OM will be heard.
Following these sounds the meditator learns to locate the centers of life in the chakras and consciousness. And after much patient practice, in time actually sees them. This achievement ordinarily requires years of meditation under the guidance and blessing of an advanced teacher who is also fully liberated.
Finally viewing the chakras and ascending ones consciousness through them in the various stages of Samadhi(Nirvana), the yogi has solved the mystery of the body connection and feels it as a play of light vibrations.
